School Hours

Academic Life in Christian Brothers College is centered around four full days and one half day tuition every week. Extra-curricular activities usually take place on Wednesday afternoons. The school day is as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: Classes commence at 8.45am and end at 3.30pm. Morning break is from 11.00am until 11.15am and lunch break is from 1.30pm until 2.00pm.

Wednesday: Classes commence at 8.45am and end at 1.00pm. Morning break is from 10.45am until 11.00am.

Supervised study is available for Junior and Senior cycle students who wish to remain on in the school after the normal school day finishes. Senior cycle students can also avail of night time supervised study, until 9:00pm. Students may also stay in the College building in the evening if parents wish to collect them at a later hour.
