Drum Out Poverty. This event was a gesture of solidarity with all those children and young people around the world who suffer poverty and injustice. It will be shared with other Edmund Rice Schools around the world to mark the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, on 17 October.
CBC Prep will host its popular RUGBY CAMP on Oct 31, Nov1/2, 10am to 2pm each day. The camp is open to all primary school boys. Boys outside CBC Prep are also welcome to attend. Contact Mr. Lynch for further details.
Staff and management bid a fond farewell to Mrs. Sheila Curley at a dinner in The Barn restaurant earlier this month. Mrs. Curley spent many happy years teaching Senior Infants in the Prep School before her retirement this year and will be sorely missed by students and staff alike.
Friday afternoons sees boys from 5th Class introducing Scratch Jr to our Junior & Senior Infants Classes. With Scratch, students can program their own interactive stories, games, and animations.
